Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has officially published the Centralized Employment Notice (CEN No. 06/2026) for the recruitment of 3,548 vacancies under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC - Graduate Posts) across various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. This massive recruitment drive is open for all eligible graduate job seekers across India.

Under this recruitment notice, candidates can apply for popular high-profile posts including Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist, and Senior Clerk Cum Typist in Pay Level 5 and Pay Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). Online applications will be accepted through the unified RRB portal (rrbapply.gov.in) from 08 October 2026 to 06 November 2026.

(Note: Category-wise distribution for UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, Ex-SM, and PwBD candidates is as per official CEN No. 06/2026 annexures).

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent institution.
• Candidates awaiting final examination results of the prescribed educational qualification are not eligible to apply.
• For typing posts (Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist & Senior Clerk Cum Typist), proficiency in typing in English / Hindi on Computer is required for the Skill Test stage.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 33 Years (as on 01 January 2027).
• Upper Age Relaxation:
  • SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years relaxation (Up to 38 years).
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 Years relaxation (Up to 36 years).
  • PwBD Candidates: 10 Years relaxation (UR: 10 yrs, OBC: 13 yrs, SC/ST: 15 yrs).
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Central Government Railway rules.

Selected candidates will receive attractive monthly salaries under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix along with applicable allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and Running Allowance (for Goods Train Manager):

• Pay Level 6 Posts: Initial Basic Pay of ₹35,400/- per month (Gross Salary approx. ₹55,000 - ₹62,000/- per month).
• Pay Level 5 Posts: Initial Basic Pay of ₹29,200/- per month (Gross Salary approx. ₹44,000 - ₹50,000/- per month).

• Payment Mode: Online via Net Banking, UPI, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
• Application Modification Fee: ₹250/- (Non-refundable) for editing application details within the modification window.

The recruitment process for RRB NTPC Graduate Posts consists of the following sequential stages:

1. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT): Common screening examination (100 Questions, 90 Minutes).
2. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT): Separate CBT for Level 5 and Level 6 posts (120 Questions, 90 Minutes).
3. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) / Typing Skill Test: As applicable to specific posts.
4. Document Verification (DV): Scrutiny of original academic, community, and identity certificates.
5. Medical Examination: Comprehensive medical fitness test conducted in Railway Hospitals.

(Note: There is negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer in both 1st Stage and 2nd Stage CBT).

3. Complete the registration with your Aadhaar verification, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
4. Log in using your registered credentials and navigate to CEN No. 06/2026 (NTPC Graduate).
5. Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred RRB Zone.
6. Upload your live webcam photograph, scanned signature, and required category certificates.
7. Pay the applicable application fee through online payment gateways.
8. Submit the application form and download/print the acknowledgment receipt for future correspondence.
